Our Menu
Welcome to our restaurant in the heart of the Weinviertel. On this page you will find our current main menu with food and drinks – available as a PDF to view or download anytime, and of course in printed form right at your table.
Our chef Christian Staffler and his kitchen team cook every day with what the region has to offer: vegetables from Weinviertel farmers, game from the surrounding forests, bread and pastries from regional bakeries, and wine straight from the local vintners. Our menu combines the honest, down-to-earth cuisine of the Weinviertel with selected international accents and creative house specialities.
Weinviertel cuisine with character
The Weinviertel is Austria’s largest wine-growing region – and for us the most natural pantry imaginable. We cook what grows, thrives and ripens around Wolkersdorf. Austrian classics such as Wiener Schnitzel, Tafelspitz, Backhendl or Kaiserschmarrn have their place on our menu, as do seasonal specialities: white asparagus in spring, apricots in summer, game and pumpkin in autumn, hearty winter dishes when the temperature drops.
The right wine belongs on the table, of course. Our wine list takes you on a tour through the Weinviertel: Grüner Veltliner as the flagship, alongside Rieslings, Pinots and red wines from the region’s finest vineyards. Our restaurant team is happy to help you choose – we know many of the winemakers personally.
Our team
In the evening, Christian Staffler leads the kitchen with his team – bringing experience, craftsmanship and a passion for honest cooking. At lunchtime, Bernadette Berger is at the stove. Out front, Zoltan and the restaurant team take care that you feel at home, the right wine is in your glass, and nobody leaves without trying our Kaiserschmarrn.
